Getting Started & Onboarding

What is QuickShift and how does it work for sellers?

QuickShift is a technology-led commerce platform that helps brands sell and deliver across quick commerce, marketplaces and D2C. Quick commerce logistics is our core strength. You send inventory to our fulfilment centres, share the PO, expiry and appointment date, and we prepare the order as per the PO.
Our dedicated vehicles then deliver it to the quick commerce hub in the booked slot. Along with this, we handle fulfilment and shipping for marketplace and D2C orders, and offer growth intelligence and AI agents that help brands do better on the digital shelf.

How does QuickShift decide who delivers my shipment?

It depends on the type of order. For quick commerce appointment deliveries, QuickShift’s own dedicated vehicles deliver your PO in the given appointment slot, so there is no courier to choose. For D2C and marketplace parcels, our smart system automatically picks a courier based on weight, payment method and destination pincode. Sellers can also select a preferred courier partner if they wish.

Which quick commerce platforms and marketplaces does QuickShift work with?

QuickShift delivers to leading quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart,Flipkar Minutes, Amazon Now and BigBasket. We also integrate with marketplaces and storefronts like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify and WooCommerce, so you can manage orders and inventory from one system. Integration availability may vary based on your needs.

Does QuickShift allow me to ship both COD and prepaid orders?

Yes, QuickShift offers both Cash on Delivery (COD) and prepaid shipments. With the QuickShift shipping system, you can manage COD orders efficiently, including collection and remittance. Apart from that, prepaid orders may be processed through the same shipping workflow.

How do I check if a pincode is serviceable?

QuickShift serves more than 29,000 pincodes nationwide across India. You can check pincode serviceability through QuickShift's shipping tools or by contacting the QuickShift team with the pickup and delivery pincodes. Since serviceability can vary between courier partners, QuickShift can use its network to identify the available shipping options for a particular destination.

How are shipping charges calculated?

Shipping cost can vary based on the parcel’s actual weight, volumetric weight, destination, courier service and any other applicable charges. Enter details such as the origin pincode, destination pincode, package weight and dimensions in the QuickShift shipping calculator to receive a quick estimate. The charge is usually based on whichever is higher, the actual weight or volumetric weight. Note that the calculator only gives an estimate, and the final amount may be different.

What's the estimated delivery time for an order?

For quick commerce, delivery is slot-based. Your order is delivered on the appointment date and in the slot shared with us, which helps you avoid missed appointments at the hub. For D2C and marketplace orders, delivery time depends on the destination, courier partner and shipping method. QuickShift offers standard, express and same-day or next-day delivery in selected locations, and some surface shipments may take around 2 to 3 days. The ETA shown for these orders is only an estimate and may change.

Can I change the courier after a shipment has been created?

Whether you can change the courier or not mainly depends on your order status. In case the package has already been picked up or processed, you may not be able to change couriers. QuickShift allows sellers to choose their courier in several instances, but flexibility is limited once the shipment has been handed over. If you still need to change couriers, contact your QuickShift account manager or support team as soon as possible.

Why isn't my tracking status updating?

Tracking details may not always update straight away, particularly if a shipment has just been created, picked up or scanned at a courier facility. You can check the latest tracking information through the QuickShift portal or its tracking page using the AWB or order number. If there is no change in the tracking status for longer than expected, contact the QuickShift support team to find out what is happening.

How do I schedule a pickup, and how are fragile items handled?

QuickShift can manage first-mile pickups from specified locations. Once the shipment is ready and the required order information is available, pickup arrangements can be managed through the QuickShift shipping process. For fragile or sensitive products, QuickShift provides specialised packaging and handling instructions to courier partners to help ensure safe movement of the shipment.

How does COD verification and remittance work?

Payment for COD orders is collected by the courier from the customer at the time of delivery of the package. QuickShift helps in collection and payment of COD and sellers can keep a track of their COD orders and follow the progress of returns. Sellers can choose between weekly or early remittance of COD as per their requirement.

How do I check the status of a COD remittance?

QuickShift’s central system manages COD payments and remittance. Sellers may use their QuickShift dashboard to keep track of COD deliveries and returns. Moreover, if they need extra information regarding when or how payments are remitted, they can also talk to their QuickShift account manager.

How do returns work when a customer sends an item back?

QuickShift helps with reverse logistics and return management that is included in their fulfillment and delivery service. Upon receipt of returned orders from customers, the order is delivered via the return process. QuickShift also works on NDR and RTO management to help minimise return shipments.

Do returned products get restocked automatically?

For quick commerce, QuickShift aims for immediate restocking of returned goods, so your losses stay low. For other orders, returned items may first go through the return, quality-check or refurbishment process before they are ready for resale. The exact restocking workflow depends on the SOP agreed with you.

What happens if an order is undelivered or marked RTO?

In the event that the delivery cannot be completed, the shipment will go through the Non-Delivery Report procedure. QuickShift works closely with its courier partners and adopts proactive follow-ups to make sure that deliveries are made successfully. If the delivery still fails, the shipment may be returned to origin (RTO), depending on the procedures. QuickShift’s post-shipping technology helps minimise the number of RTOs and manage returns.
