Technology Β· Demand IQ

Turn demand signals into smarter decisions

Demand IQ reads the signals your sales already send, season, channel, velocity, price, and forecasts what each SKU will sell, where, and when. So you stock what moves, and lock up nothing that doesn't.

The guessing tax

Every stock decision is a bet. Most are made blind.

Order too much and cash sits on a shelf, storage, markdowns, and in a lot of categories, expiry. Order too little and the sale doesn't wait; it moves to whoever had the SKU in stock, and on marketplaces and quick commerce, your ranking goes with it. The spreadsheet built on last year's numbers can't see a festival spike, a channel taking off, or the three competitors who just dropped price.

Overstock
Cash on the shelf

Working capital locked in inventory that isn't moving, plus the storage to hold it and the markdowns to clear it.

Stockout
The sale that walked

A customer who finds you out of stock buys elsewhere once, and often doesn't come back. The lost ranking lingers longer.

Lag
Planning that's always late

Monthly cycles can't keep pace with demand that now spikes by the week, and sometimes by the day.

The signals

Your demand is already talking. Demand IQ listens.

Six streams of signal, read continuously and weighed together, so the forecast reflects what's happening now, not what happened last year.

LAUNCH
Sales velocity

How fast each SKU moves, by channel and by location, tracked as it happens rather than totted up at month-end.

Seasonality & festivals

The recurring peaks, Diwali, end-of-season, back-to-school, learned from your own history, not a generic calendar.

Channel momentum

Where offtake is accelerating across D2C, marketplaces and quick commerce, so you back the channel that's pulling.

Price & promotion

How demand bends to your pricing and your discounts, and to the moves competitors make on the same shelf.

Returns pattern

What comes back and why, so the forecast reflects true, sellable demand rather than gross orders.

The forecast

A number for every SKU, every location

Demand IQ forecasts at the grain decisions are actually made, this SKU, in this city, over the coming weeks, with a confidence range, so you can plan for the likely case and still cover the upside.

It refreshes as new signals arrive. The forecast doesn't wait for the next planning meeting to catch up with reality.

Forecast, meet fulfilment

A forecast you can act on, not just read

A number in a report still leaves someone to decide what to do with it. Because Demand IQ runs inside QuickShift, the forecast flows straight into the decisions that follow, how much to reorder, what to pull back before it expires, and which of 11 fulfilment centres should hold each SKU so it sits closest to the demand. Paired with QS LEAP, the prediction becomes stock in the right building, not a line on a chart.

Border
Buy the right quantity

Clear reorder points and quantities by SKU, timed to your lead time, so you never scramble for stock or over-commit cash to it.

Placement Β· QS Leap
Hold it in the right place

Where each SKU should sit across the network, so stock is near the demand it's forecast to meet and ready to ship same-day.

Clear-Down
Move it before it ages

What's heading for overstock or expiry, flagged early enough to redistribute or promote it while it still sells.

How It Works

From raw sales to stock in position

Four steps. The first three are what good forecasting does. The fourth is what only a fulfilment partner can.

01
Ingest

Pulls your sales, returns and channel data, SKU by SKU, location by location, and cleans it into one view.

Sales data integration table by SKU and location
02
Forecast

Models demand with seasonality, momentum and price built in, learning from 18M+ shipments across the network.

03
Recommend

Turns the forecast into reorder, placement and clear-down calls, ranked by what's at stake for each SKU.

04
Place, and Fulfill

Where you fulfill with QuickShift, the placement call becomes stock positioned across the network through QS LEAP.

Built on the network

A forecast is only as good as what it learns from

Demand IQ is trained on the real movement of goods across the QuickShift network, and can act on its own predictions through the same network.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on the channel, setup, data, pricing and support.

How accurate is the forecast?

Forecast accuracy depends on historical data quality, order patterns, and operational factors. Accuracy is monitored and refined over time as more data becomes available.

Do I have to fulfil with QuickShift to use Demand IQ?

No. The forecasting stands on its own, you can read demand, reorder and clear-down signals whether or not QuickShift moves your stock. The placement step simply activates when your inventory sits in the QuickShift network, where the forecast can position it through QS LEAP.

What data does it need to get started?

The forecast updates automatically as new data becomes available, helping you stay informed with the latest insights for better planning and decision-making.
